Join us at Jackson State University at COFO for a book reading and conversation with Omo Moses. Now a museum and civil rights education center, the statewide headquarters for the Council of Federated Organizations (COFO) was the epicenter of the modern civil rights movement in Mississippi and served as the organizational home for Freedom Summer in 1964. It is operated by the Margaret Walker Center now.
This event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
No pre-registration is required.
